Walking New York is a painted relief that measures 8 feet x 350 feet. It is a permanent installation in JFK Airport’s Terminal 4 in the Immigration Hall. It received the Municipal Arts Society Award for “Best Public Art of 2001”.
28 panels comprise the relief. They depict scenes of the 5 boroughs of New York City that I am particularly fond of, scenes that I thought a visitor or an immigrant would especially remember.
Each individual panel: Forton & Pigment 8.5 x 10.5 feet
